The Role:
Private M&A and corporate advisory in the expanding Leisure & Entertainment sector nationally. Gain access to cross-border transactions and strong U.S. investment activity in Queensland. You will align with a Tourism and Hospitality practice that is expanding as Brisbane investment truly ramps up over the next five years.
Your Opportunity:
This Partner is looking to develop someone. You will align initially as a Senior Associate or Special Counsel depending on existing M&A expertise. You will be mentored towards a 2IC group role with a path to Junior Partnership.
The reason this partner is looking to develop his own running mate is the nature of the M&A is teachable for the right, motivated lawyer looking to carve out a clear pathway in transactional law. This Partner is intrinsically driven to lead and empower others. He is seeking a smart, dedicated commercial lawyer that wants more.
You will bring with you:
- Bachelor of Laws Â
- ​Minimum of four years post admission experience in corporate/commercial law.   Â
- Private M&A expertise desirable but not essential if there is a passion to elevate experience in this arena. Â
- Strong academics ​Â
