Your Opportunity:
You will work under a nationally recognized partner on specialist matters with a focus on achieving commercial and social success.
- Contribute to impactful solutions that address complex regulatory compliance, environmental sustainability, and social performance. Â
- Provide strategic guidance on navigating environmental, planning, Aboriginal heritage, native title, and regulatory frameworks.Â
- Collaborate with the broader sustainability team nationally and other practice areas to deliver comprehensive client solutions. Â
Opportunity to take on a Special Counsel seat for an E&P lawyer looking to take the lead on matters, or transition from a broader resources practice into a specialist E&P stream at the Associate to Senior Associate level. The firm is committed to continuous learning and development, offering mentorship, training, and opportunities to grow professionally.
About You:
- ​​2–8 years PQE, with exposure to environmental, approvals, or planning law ideal. Note that the role will be catered to your level of expertise as we continue to build valued skills in this emerging and growing space. Â
- Alternatively, a premier background with experience in broader mining and resources matters, looking to build a career in environmental law.Â
- Strong academic record.Â
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-focused mindset providing clear and commercially oriented advice.Â
- Collaborative and entrepreneurial, with a drive to deliver clear, practical, and creative solutions. Â
