The Opportunity
High-calibre corporate transactions spanning regulated M&A, equity capital markets and ASX-listed entities. Complete access to private M&A and project structuring if you like the variety of the full spectrum of deals.
In a relatively quiet ECM period, this group is positioned not only as an integrated multifaceted corporate team, but it will provide access to the nationally significant regulated M&A activity over the next five years. With that it also holds some of the best minds in ECM as this space evolves again, they are best positioned to be at the core of that activity.
Structurally you won’t be beholden to Perth activity only and the two reporting Partners enjoy supporting their team into deals running off the global platform to give you the best exposure. However, as a group, they aren’t about egos. They love tackling the work as a team and enjoying it as they go.
Both partners have confirmed that there is no internal competition to Senior Associate. It is transparent and comparatively easy to achieve in contrast to other tier ones, as the cross-border and internal one profit pool structure allows the workflow to provide merit-based movement upwards.
If you are trained in sophisticated, regulated M&A and equity capital markets and need access to a stronger deal flow at its international peak to move through to senior then this will appeal.

- Regulated M&A, public takeovers, schemes of arrangement and associated securities law considerations.
- ASX Listing Rules, corporate governance and regulatory requirements affecting listed entities.
- Equity capital markets transactions, including IPOs, secondary capital raisings and strategic equity investments.
- Broader corporate transactions, including cross-border acquisitions, divestments and joint ventures.
