This will suit a corporate/commercial associate ready to take more of a lead on transactions and build a career path towards Director in a trusted WA firm.
Your Opportunity
- Focus on ASX junior to mid-tier mining, including IPOs, acquisitions, share and asset sales, joint ventures, and restructures with strong interests in Africa.
- Create your own trusted legal advisor profile in a highly lucrative end of the market whilst benefiting from a direct percentage of profits.
- Engage as a trusted business advisor in the resources space as well as start-up technology: learn how to lead client negotiations, providing independent, high-quality business advice on corporate governance, and transactional matters.
- Collaborate closely with the Head of Corporate as a 2IC type role and enjoy excellent business mentoring and a biannual review process so your career goals are being supported as all levels of leadership.
About You:
- Minimum of four years post admission experience in Corporate/Commercial Law
- Proven ability to work independently, manage interpersonal client relationships and take initiative with clients to build trust
- Motivated to advance in a legal career
- Bachelor of Laws, strong academics
