Key Corporate High end Associate up to two year Senior Associate opens up in Perth!
This is one of the country’s leading Energy and Resources teams. With a core focus on tier one private M&A transactions, the Partner is happy to develop project structuring for the right Corporate M&A candidate, looking to deepen their skills in the resources sector. Mostly enjoying a full compliment in their team to date, this role has become available due to an interstate shift.
You will align with a deeply entrenched tier one Partner in a one Partner group. This Partner acts as Relationship Manager across the firm for a leading suite of mining entities with activities spanning expansive assets across the APAC and globe.Â
The Opportunity:
- Core work includes private M&A transactions in the mining sector, including acquisitions and divestments for domestic and international clients.
- Exposure to joint venture and strategic alliance arrangements, including JV formation, restructures, earn-in/farm-in arrangements and ongoing governance advice. No need for prior experience specific to these elements.
- Drafting and negotiating key mining-sector commercial agreements including marketing, operating and contract mining agreements.
- BE exposed to Transaction structuring, SPA and JV documentation, strong internal interactions with projects and disputes teams.
