Key Corporate High end Associate up to two year Senior Associate opens up in Perth!
Activity focuses on directors and officers of large mining companies, publicly listed entities and some financial services including managed investment schemes for long term firm clients in these sectors.
You will align with one of WA’s stand out team leader’s in the Perth complex insurance circuit. The practice spans litigated and non-litigated matters, regulatory investigations, disciplinary proceedings and policy coverage advice.
Insurance specialist firm with an established insurance and disputes practice. It is known for its depth in litigation, strong insurer panel appointments and consistent presence in complex, high-value matters.
The Opportunity:
- Manage a portfolio of professional indemnity claims from inception to resolution
- Advise insurers on coverage, policy interpretation and indemnity issues
- Provide strategic input into early liability assessment and resolution strategy
- Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the ongoing development of the practice
The role offers the scope to step into a visible position within the team, with the opportunity to strengthen insurer relationships and expand into complementary lines of insurance work overtime.
About You:
- 4.5+ years’ PQE with experience in professional indemnity, insurance litigation or complex commercial disputes with a reputed firm
- Demonstrated capability managing litigated matters with a level of autonomy
- Strong academic background and refined drafting skills
- Commercial judgement and confidence advising insurer clients directly
- Interest in contributing to team leadership and practice growth at Senior Associate or Special Counsel level
